What is the inflation method of a bladder accumulator?

A bladder accumulator is an energy storage device commonly used in hydraulic systems. They are typically filled by injecting a gas, usually nitrogen, into the air chamber of the bladder accumulator. The pressure of this gas charge causes the elastic capsule membrane inside the accumulator to expand, thus compressing the fluid within the accumulator. When it is time to release the stored energy, the liquid is pushed out and the gas pushes the bladder membrane back to its initial state to release the stored energy.

Filling is usually carried out by means of specialized valves that allow gas to be injected into the accumulator and control the filling pressure. Care needs to be taken during inflation to ensure that the pressure of the gas injected is in accordance with the design requirements in order to ensure that the accumulator operates safely and efficiently.
