What issues should be noted when using and storing gas cylinders?

Gas cylinders should be classified for storage: empty and full cylinders should be separated, oxygen or other oxidizing gases should be separated from fuel cylinders and other flammable materials; Acetylene cylinders are divided into compartments with oxygen cylinders, chlorine cylinders, and flammable materials, compartments with toxic gas cylinders, and compartments with gas cylinders that can cause combustion, explosion, and the production of toxic substances due to contact with the medium inside the cylinders.

Gas cylinders that should not be stored for a long time or for a limited period of time, such as vinyl chloride, hydrogen chloride, methyl ether, etc., should be labeled with a storage period.

Gas cylinders should be placed upright for use, and horizontal placement is strictly prohibited. Measures should be taken to prevent tipping over.

Fix or secure with railings or brackets, and it is prohibited to use the cylinder valve or head of the gas cylinder to secure it.

The bracket or tie should be made of flame-retardant materials, and the bottom of the gas cylinder should be protected from corrosion.

Gas cylinders containing gases that are prone to polymerization or decomposition reactions, such as acetylene cylinders, should avoid open sources of radiation.

Gas cylinders should not be placed near heat sources and should be kept at least 10 meters away from office and residential areas. Prevent exposure to sunlight, rain, and water immersion. When the ambient temperature exceeds 40 ℃, measures such as shading should be taken to cool down.
