The working principle of a gas cylinder pressure reducing valve can be simply described as adjusting the opening size of the pressure reducing valve core to change the gas flow rate from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side, in order to achieve the purpose of sincere pressure. The specific process is as follows:

When the gas pressure in the gas cylinder is higher than the pressure set by the pressure reducing valve, the gas will enter the interior of the pressure reducing valve through the high-pressure inlet of the pressure reducing valve. The pressure reducing valve core is affected by the gas pressure and moves downwards, connecting the high-pressure inlet with the opening of the pressure reducing valve core. The gas begins to flow into the pressure reducing valve from the high-pressure side.

As the gas flows, the sincere pressure valve core will gradually move upwards, causing the opening to gradually decrease, thereby controlling the size of the gas flow rate. When the gas flows through the opening of the pressure reducing valve core, its pressure will gradually decrease until it reaches the pressure set by the pressure reducing valve.

At this point, the gas will flow out from the low-pressure side outlet of the pressure reducing valve and enter the downstream pipeline or equipment for use. Due to the function of the pressure reducing valve, the pressure at the gas outlet is always maintained within the set pressure range, regardless of how the pressure in the gas cylinder changes.
